This campground was a great fit for us. If you are biking of walking, the campground is right in town. The other camping is quite a distance away. The campground is family owned. They did a lot of work to get it ready for us this year. The bathrooms are very clean. The owner is kind and very helpful. There were lots of spaces available for camping. Nice trees with a creek running through the property.
Can't say enough good things about our experience here. We showed up on no notice at 7:30 pm with little hope for a place to camp for the night. The owners were amazing and their father in law bill and his wife showed up within minutes and got the place up and running (mid June). The hospitality was second to none. Bill also bought us a large tub of fire wood, and provided us contact information in case we needed anything. They were incredibly welcoming and kind. The park is absolutely beautiful with a creek running through. The bathroom facilities were clean and well maintained. I cannot wait to visit again!!
Loved this place! It's hard to find RV sites that are not parking lots, here they try to blend in with some trees, making it feel more like actual camping. You also get a wood/coal based bbq. The only reason why it didn't get 5 stars is because it doesn't have laundry facilities.
Very friendly owner, stayed there 3 nights while hiking around Gros Morne. Some bugs but not bad. Amazing shower for a campsite. Great firewood and great overall price!
Great place in town . 3way hook ups. Only one shower very large 2washrooms in 2019. Looks like expanding services though . Friendly owners. Short walk to pub need to see kitchen party. Seafood available at fish factory short drive away in town .
