This is a wonderful, hidden gem! Had great memories as a child at these camps. Came back this summer and had a blast! Beautiful, peaceful scenery and charming cabins. Couldn't ask for more. David was more than accommodating! I see why this place is so successful. Would love to go again! 5-star all the way!
My husband came as a kid with his family and brought us here for the first time in 2022 and we stayed in cabin 6. We loved it so much, we stayed an extra couple days in cabin 2. We just spent a relaxing week in cabin 7. Honestly, I never want to leave when the time comes. Can I just live here? Cabin 7 is the BEST cabin, of the 3 we’ve stayed in. The creek flowing outside, is the most peaceful sound! Beds are comfy. Cabin is stocked with everything you could need. And Dave and Randi are so kind and helpful! This place is a gem!
Absolutely magical time for kids and adults. Beautiful, quiet and romantic charm of the lake. Kids enjoy their independence exploring the islands on kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, raw boats, etc. It was so refreshing to see kids playing in nature all day long and never bored, asking for their phones/electronic devices. The cabins were clean and comfortable and the staff extremely friendly and helpful with planning hikes. It is the most charming experience I had in ages. Totally blew my mind.
I can't believe I waited so long to let everyone know just how fabulous this resort is! Our kids picked this spot for their wedding last fall and they couldn't have picked a better setting. Every cabin (and the group occupied most of them!) was a winner; the owners, vendors, and wedding help made our 4 day stay one for the record books and we hope to make returning to this resort every fall a tradition!
A Storybook Get-A-Way Morningside owners are the nicest people, they work very hard long hours keeping the Grounds & Cabins & Beach Areas as well maintained, and stocked with items you dont need to bring, clean cabins, variety of outdoor water amenities, great place for Familys or Couples. Must be able to walk small hilly areas to get around. Owners are very Accomodating and they have Excellent Customer Service. A very nice, quiet atmosphere. Great Get-A-Way!
