Cozy cabin with all the necessities you may need, perfect fit for a family of 3 and a dog. 10/10 would come back again! Friendly customer service checking in and checking out was easy.
Stayed in one of the cabins. Great experience, very quiet out there. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Shop and restaurant on site were very convenient. Strong wifi in the absence of cell service in the area. I will definitely stay here again on my next peninsula adventure.
Best place for camping in the area! Access to a shower and such! They also have some small cabins and a couple rentable RV’s on sight too if i recall correctly but i haven’t tested these out yet because I usually come here in the nice months when i prefer to camp. The place is in close range of some great hiking spots and Rialto Beach is right down the road! Sometimes parking is tight so going to Rialto early is something i highly recommend if you want to spend time there during the nice months! The store/restaurant on sight are great for quick food if you don't want to have to cook over the fire the whole trip. The restaurant is really good too as I haven’t had a bad meal there! We even eat there when we stay at the Quileute Oceanside resort down the road when we dont want. Also if you dont want to have to pack a ton of food for those camping for longer periods the Forks grocery store isn’t too far away either. Though the store on site has most of the basics of campfire foods.
I called to ask about availability of pet-friendly lodging for 1 night. They said yes they had 2 cabins available. I ended up reserving online on the website. It was about $150 (two-bedroom mini cabin) plus $20/dog (I had 2 dogs). I checked in upon arrival, fine. Then, once in the cabin, there are signs posted everywhere!!!! No dogs allowed on beds or furniture!!!! No dogs allowed left alone in the cabin, not even crated!!!! What?? What is this extra $40 going toward? Normally it goes towards extra time spent cleaning dog hair off of the comforter or couch, whatever. Nope. If there were no extra charges, I would have been less upset. If there had been HONEST TRANSPARENCY on the website or at check-in (since I paid online, I was given keys and signed a single sheet of paper that mentioned fees for hiding pets, but I do not recall specific statements about pets as on the large laminated signs everywhere). Also, there was mold growing on the ceiling of the bathroom. The cabin itself was fine, cute, comfortable beds. Decent location. I was pretty upset at being charged extra for… what? And lack of transparency. They should invest in cheap tarps or cheap plastic sheets for furniture and/or beds if they’re going to charge extra for pets.
We didn’t stay at the cabins here, only stopped in for some milkshakes because a local told us they are the best & they absolutely were!! They even had twilight themed milkshakes! The people eating there looked at us like they didn’t really want us there because we were specifically there for twilight but didn’t think much of it, just got our shakes & left. The workers there were really nice!
