What an amazing campground. Lovely showers. Love having laundry onsite! Have to say the security guy or park ranger that was on was so quick when the tornado sirens went off. He had the shower houses open and ready by the time we got to the shower house. Loved walking around the lake each day. Recommend
This was the second time we've camped here. Loved it both times. The campground is well-maintained and easy to navigate. The sites are large and level with full hook-ups, picnic tables amd fire rings. Right on the paved hiking/biking trail on the lake. We had good cell service with Verizon. The campground dog park is large!
I attended a baby shower here. The weather was warm enough that we were able to sit out on the deck to open gifts. There were 2 restrooms in the trailer. The food was set up in the trailer. It was well attended and fun for those attending.
We stayed at this park this past winter. The park is very nice, and we enjoyed the trails along with the surrounding area. The park staff is very friendly and helpful. They did a good job of keeping the streets clear during the snowfall. I wish they wouldn't assign specific sites when you make a reservation. It creates some chaos with people having to move around the park if they're staying for a longer time. Most campgrounds just reserve a specific type of site, not the site # itself. We will be back when/if we're in the area. Thanks for the good winter.
Great paved trail around a man-made lake. Excellent dog park (fenced; separate small & large pup sections). Paddle boards and kayaks for rent. Pretty nice bathrooms at the park end, with separate toilets/showers/laundry facilities on the camping end. DO NOT SPEED IN THIS PARK. Campers can stay 60 days max. Very clean RV pads with quality hookups. Primitive camping also very well maintained. We stay here every year, multiple times per year. Fair rates for the amenities available. Very close to a brand new Circle K kitchen. Only 2 miles from Cave Springs, 3 miles from Spencer Rd, 3.5 miles from Mid Rivers. 10/10 would recommend!👍
