Customer Reviews
We stayed with our 29 foot travel trailer. The campground is very clean and the bathrooms were clean and heated. Each separate bathroom has its own shower. We were there during their Halloween festivities for the kids. It was very cute. The location was wonderful to getting to the hikes and activities we wanted. The only complaint is the car noise from the nearby highway.
We had the opportunity to visit/stay at 4 guys this past weekend. The directions given were super easy to follow, our site was very clean and tidy awaiting our arrival. All the sites seemed to be very spacious and well cared for. The staff was very helpful and accommodating upon our arrival. We took the opportunity to visit one of the local coffee shops...super fun! The area has a ton of activities and sight seeing just a short drive away! We plan to visit again!
We had a great time at 4 Guys RV Park. Everything is very clean, including shower rooms/bathrooms. It's very family friendly. It's conveniently located near most hiking trails and food. They have campers for rent if you do not own one. You can also set up a tent. The staff is friendly and very helpful and the campsites are affordable. There is a restaurant/bar called Toad's located right next door and is very easy to walk to. I highly recommend checking them out!
We chose this campground to use as a base for our cave kayaking and visit to Natural Bridge and were glad we did. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped on site #74, a FHU back-in site. 50/30/20, pedestal tall enough that Watchdog is above the ground. Reasonable water pressure. Threaded sewer. Well graveled site. Decent spacing between sites. Site was two degrees low in rear toward the front of the site, and 0.9 degrees low on the left side. By backing all the way to the back of the site, with the tail of the coach overhanging the railroad tie at the back, I was able to get the coach to 1.2 degrees rear low and 0.4 degrees low side to side. I was able to get our Class A gas coach level without having to use ramps. 3 bars LTE Verizon, 1 bar T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon data were slow. Campground has free wi-fi, but it is slow and limited. Upgrades to allow streaming are available to purchase. Road noise from the four-lane divided parkway can be easily heard when outside. When it is quiet in the coach, trucks and loud motorcycles can be heard. But, the traffic on the road is moderate, so I found it tolerable. The campground has a clean, small pool. There is also a small fishing pond. The laundry room has two washers and two dryers. Washers are $3.00 a load, dryers are $2.00 for forty minutes. There is another section, 4 Guys Creekside, that has four pull-throughs, and a number of back-ins, all with level concrete pads. This section has its own bath house and a laundry with one washer and one dryer. The campground is big rig friendly, and access from the highway is easy and stress-free. The campground is convenient to The Red River Gorge / Daniel Boone National Forest. Sandy, who checked us in, was really nice, and highlighted a number of the best places to visit / hike in the area.
We had a great stay at 4 Guys RV Park! The staff was friendly, and the campground was clean and well-maintained. It’s centrally located and easily accessible, no matter the size of your RV, which made our stay hassle-free. The only downside was the WiFi – the free service isn’t strong enough for streaming, and you have to pay extra for better connectivity. In 2024, free high-speed WiFi feels like a must. However, despite that, we really enjoyed our time and would highly recommend this park to others!
