TIP TAM CAMPING RESORT

The staff at Tip-Tam are amazing. While parked at a friend's house, weekly I would go to Tip-Tam for propane and dump my tanks. Everyone is friendly, accomidating and knowledgeable. I have listened and picked up useful in learnings. Thank you to Jeff and the staff. I highly recommend that you visit Tip-Tam! Tell them Pat said hello!

I took my family there 15 years ago. Mrs Joan was outstanding and so was her staff, which consists of family. Hands down great place to take the children.

We came to Tip Tam for a week to visit my father. Unfortunately he began to experience some medical issues. Darren and the staff at Tip Tam have been so kind and accommodating! We were able to extend our stay (without moving our rig) for an extra week and a half while my dad recovered. We are so thankful for their support and exceptional service during this time!

I am only Raiting this RV campground on one topic, as you could see: service. I never had the opportunity to stay there because I was not given the chance so I can’t provide ratings on the room and/or location. I am familiar with the campground, I used to reside in Jackson for over eight years at a private residence. I know longer reside in Jackson and I’ve not been since 2016. I have heard stories in the past about the campground that there is drug activity, etc. loud and Boisterous campers police onto the scene, etc. As I peruse Posted reviews appears not appears is actual that there are perhaps the reviews maybe 95% of them or more have given tip tam RV campground either four or five stars. There is theory and not just this establishment but any business at all that people leave reviews the owners, fictitious names and just go ahead and post made up or fraudulent or felonious reviews, but I cant prove it in this case. So it all started just the other day when I telephoned and a very bothered and tiresome or cannot be bothered female answered the phone and she was identified as “Kat” or“Cat”, yes just like a pet cat. So I subsequently asked her politely and respectfully as I always do if she had an available site for my rig. Rather then immediately answer my direct question she asked 2X in the conversation “How long do you need it for?” To which I replied “Perhaps 1 or 2 months.” She said one minute please and put me on-hold. Two minutes later she came back and stated “We do not have anything available.” Now, my takeaway: I believe she did have a site for me. And was lying to me. I’m not a cop/police officer, but I’ve been told that I might sound like one. I believe she conferred with the owner/campground authority while I was on-hold and was told to just go ahead and tell him (me) that “we don’t have anything.” Why do I believe this? Because remember in the beginning when Kat or Cat certainly implied she had an open site for (and yes I told her what kind of rig I own), she requested 2X for how long….? Take this review for what it’s worth or not worth. Later and happy RV’ing.

Very friendly staff and very helpful. Level campsite, pretty much pulled in and dropped the camper. Camp store has camping supplies, snacks, drinks etc. Very well stocked. Kids seem to enjoy their time here. Grocery store is close by if you want to shop when you get here instead of loading up the camper before leaving the house. A couple diners close by if you want to get breakfast in the morning. Clean campground, bathrooms and laundry if needed. quiet nights. 35-40minutes for us to get here from home. We will be parked here for the month. Our 3rd year here and we've been very happy with our experiences here each time.
