Our favorite yearly camping spot! Close to swimming and very quiet! Reasonable prices on firewood and site rental too.
Visited this place because my siblings almost drowned here when they were 5 or so (50 years ago) while camping with family. It haunts my dreams from time to time and I wanted to see the real place again. Nice campground and the beach where swimming was once allowed was not in sight. Must have reclaimed it and it is no more. Hoping the dreams go the same way! Lol.
4 miles down a gravel road, electric sites, water and pit toilets. Was very quiet
I love fishing and boating there i haven't been camping there but I don't live that far away, but its nice quite way off the beaten path water quality is better than big hallow.
Always good fishing. Need trash cans near boat docks though
Always a great place to camp. Well taken care of grounds, decent bathroom facilities, fun time swimming in the lake and easy boat access to the Mississippi River.
