Stopped here on the way back down from Josephine Lake. This lake is very nice. Only one travel trailer there. Lots of room to camp and load your kayak in the lake. Fall Colors were beautiful. Fishing is good based on reports I read. Beautiful!!!
Beautiful views, good fishing, and fun place to snowshoe in winter.
Classic Forest Service Campground with minimal services in a nice location. In the early season the lake is full so this is the best time to visit to enjoy the lake. In late season the lake can be quite low and is just a different experience. If you are going for hiking there are lots of opportunities nearby to enjoy so the location is great.
Great campground! Can get crowded, and spots fill up fast.
Camp host is very helpful. Nice shaded spots close to the lake.
