Amazing hosts sharing a breathtaking property with hiking/horseback riding trails, fishing ponds, paddle boats, and fresh eggs! All sites are very well maintained. We stayed in a tent at site 23 which is surrounded by the pines and has a big spool table, chairs, and fire ring! There are sites closer to the lake and bathhouse that can accommodate big rigs. We really appreciated being led directly to our campsite with special care being taken to point out the deeper holes in the road. Y'all took great care of us. Thanks again!!

My husband and I recently stayed at 5D RV Park & Campground in Navasota, Texas, and once again, it was an absolutely incredible experience! This is our go-to camping spot, and a big reason for that is Julie, the host. She is one of the most positive, uplifting people you’ll ever meet. She genuinely cares about her guests and always makes you feel welcome and valued. The property itself is stunning—well-maintained, peaceful, and immaculately clean. Not a single piece of trash in sight! They recently added new campsites, and we had the pleasure of staying in one of them. The location was perfect—private, quiet, and surrounded by nature. Whether you’re looking for a family-friendly getaway, a solo retreat, or a peaceful escape with loved ones, this place is ideal. One thing that truly stands out is the strong sense of safety and comfort. You can completely relax and enjoy your time without any worries. It’s the perfect spot to disconnect from the world and reconnect with nature and yourself. We highly recommend 5D RV Park & Campground and, most of all, Julie! If you’re looking for a beautiful, welcoming place to stay, this is it!

A great place to go camping in the Greater Houston Area. Was there for Cubs Scout camping outing and it was perfect. Definitely needed a GPS to get there as it was definitely rural. The campsite is maintained well, but 'primitive' - that is, no power or water except at a small shack by the entrance. I liked it being primitive as it made the camping that much more camping like. The area is wooded and good for walking and exploring around.

You want rest? This is the place to get away! A simple campground in the backwoods of Texas. Quiet and peaceful place to rest with your family. It’s a primitive campsite and has a local spot for water and running toilet. Tall pines surround your campsite and make you feel secluded yet free to wonder! A lake for fishing and great trails for hiking or bringing your horse to ride pony ride. Get away from the city or your house and get outdoors at 5D Ranch!

This place looks like they forgot how to maintain things. Random things everywhere, branches in the tent area, there is no sense of placement or where to pitch your tent. The claimed they cleaned up but it look like nothing has been moved in months. Random pallets in the campsite and this is not kid/family friendly. Please go somewhere else. The ground is uneven, but I'm supposed to leave things how I found them or better than it was?

Julie and Eddie were amazing! So incredibly sweet and helpful, at every turn! So far above and beyond! And they helped what became a very stressful situation become much less so (yay vehicular trouble!). Their dog, Quigley is awesome, and super sweet, too. The property is beautiful and huge! The sites were very variant, depending on your wantsneeds, and Julie helped me find the perfect one for us, when I booked online. All of the sites were very well maintained, as were the trails. I cannot recommend this place enough!
