Beautiful spots, well maintained, beside acres of gorgeous maintained park trails, clean bathrooms, free warm showers, cozy hot tub and nice indoor pool. Large laundry area and small grocery store on site. RV and truck wash on site (closed during winter). Well protected from most weather conditions. Railway right beside so expect train noise. 20 minute walk to sky train. Dog friendly. Arcade, small workout gym and playground for children. Lots of wildlife to see.
Stayed here for two nights while visiting family in Port Coquitlam. Arrived late evening with no reservation and were very pleased that they could accommodate us (they were open until 10 pm). We were impressed with the facilities! Very clean and well maintained, huge laundry room, indoor pool and hot tub, roof top patio and games/social room, free showers with great water pressure, children's outdoor playground and covered picnic area, and even a RV wash station! The sites are close together, but do have shrubs between them. Great convenient location! There are surrounding busy roads, the train track right behind the campground which runs regularly...and sky train in close proximity.....so there is definitely traffic noise. We stayed along the walking path....and once we were in our trailer, the noise wasn't an issue at all for us. We would definitely stay here again.
This was my very first experience of a caravan/RV park back in October. I suppose movies and what I expected was dingy and dirty. But this was luxurious. If I compare it to all the RV parks we visited during out 2 week road trip with a truck camper, this was definitely in the top 3 in terms of facilities. Showers were excellent, I love that the entire restroom is heated. Our spot was good, full hook-up. Did not use the pool or gym but I am surprised that there was even a gym. Very cool. Seems like a decent place for families as there was a playground, gazebo, with leisure areas. Landscape was well maintained. Facilities clean. Not dingy or dirty - was above my expectations as a first timer.
What a great find right in the city with a lot to offer. Each site offers a privacy hedge on three sides with a picnic table. The amenities are many from clean shower houses to a washing bay for your vehicle. Everything is clean and neat. The staff is very friendly. The site is close to a railway but that didn’t bother us at all….we slept right through it! Would highly recommend for a city stay!
I’ve stayed at this location several times over the last year. Every time has been 5-star. The park is spotless. The team is very helpful. The amenities are large and well-cared for. It is an URBAN location so they don’t have the luxury of space and there is always noise from trains and cars. The spots are very tight but still quite lovely. Each space is separated from the next with a cedar hedge at each side (the backs are open so yes, it’s not totally private). Every rig parks on pavement which is a huge plus in the rain and snow seasons. Each has a picnic table on inset pavers - some spots have more room than others. Amenities include a large laundry room with big folding tables; an indoor swimming pool and hot tub; some exercise equipment; and a small store. One of its best pluses is being across the street from the walking trails around Burnaby Lake. So easy to leave the city behind. It’s also close to a Skytrain station for easy access to Vancouver proper. I’m very happy to be booked for another stay in a couple of weeks.
