The Retro Ranchito was an amazing place to stay! Leafe and Katherine were the BEST hosts, who went out of their way to provide recommendations and updates - and even ordered us some blankets to use outside in the evenings when we mentioned it which were delivered within three hours! Super on top of it and knowledgeable and kind! The house was perfect for the two of us. I could have watched the hummingbirds for another week from the hot tub. You’re about 10 min from the Design District and a ton of great restaurants, and we really liked Prescott Preserve for a morning walk. Can’t wait to book again! Just returned from a glorious week staying at their Palm Springs rental! The house is serene and beautifully appointed. Has all the amenities (and then some) that travelers would/could be looking for to make their stay comfortable and homey. We loved the welcome "FaceTime check-in" on our 1st night and the effort that Leafe & Katherine took during our stay to message us with suggestions for activities and favorite spots to eat/hang out. The house is in a great location with a gorgeous mountain view and easy access to all of the places we chose to visit in Palm Springs and beyond. The neighborhood is quiet and provided the perfect backdrop for us to enjoy this home away from home in the desert. We look forward to visiting PS in the next few years for both Modernism Week and the PS Film Festival and will definitely be booking future stays at this special place! This cabin was absolutely magical! So peaceful! We really enjoyed stargazing from the hot tub! The rustic decor just added to the incredible atmosphere of the desert. The large fenced backyard was fantastic and private. Our dog enjoyed exploring his surroundings without being tethered. Our only regret was that we were only able to enjoy it for one night!
My husband and I stayed here last year and decided to come again this year for his birthday. We had a great time once again. It is such a relaxing retreat and the hot tub under the stars is so nice. You just get swept away from the hustle and bustle for a little while. We will definitely be back in the future.
Wonderful cabin for a peaceful getaway in the high dez & a good base for hiking in JT. Spotless, well equipped for couples with / without small kids. Loved the industrial look. The private hot tub under the stars made for a special stay.
