Its most significant location highlight is its proximity to the Fort Abercrombie State Historic Site, historically known as "the Gateway to the Dakotas." Nice atmosphere, great host Lennie. Power is available, beautiful grounds
A small humble museum that's defiantly in need of some funding or something. The hours are kinda of weird so always call ahead to make sure it's even open. I typically enjoy stopping in as a summer day trip on top of the historic fort down the road. It's got some neat pioneer and early 20th century pieces around if you can find them.
Great place to have a picnic! Lots of tables. There is a playground and historic Fort Abercrombie just kitty corner from the park to tour or just walk.
My Grandson got married there today and the setting was beautiful for their ceremony and reception.
Awesome place!
