We were presented with an awesome membership deal by the owner and a salesperson. Just wasn’t right time for us to Purchase but will consider in the future. The people were very nice, knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and hospitable. We did not stay over but will soon.
A quaint, small and private rv resort. It's a great location! Close to town if you need anything but far enough out to feel cozy and outdoorsy. They have a couple playgrounds and a dog park. The bathrooms are well kept and they have a cool calendar of events. It's a fun spot and worth checking out!
The cottage was well equipped, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay with no concerns. The staff at Abita Sptings was typical OCP. AWESOME! Very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The location was far from the interstate highway. It was a drive to town. It wasn't horrible, but not as convenient as Tres Rios.
I was trying to not leave a review for Abita Spring, because I didn't want it to get so popular it gets crowded! We loved it! Wide, flat, pea gravel roads, spacious lots. (Very few pull in, mostly back in). Lots of little ponds. We were next to one, the lillies were in bloom, smelled kinda like vanilla there. Wife liked the "active" craft center. Very friendly office people. And really friendly people camping there. (Odd, almost everybody in the ares was driving the speed limit...) Plenty to do and see around there too. Caution: don't follow the GPS, the old road leads into a residential area, and you'd have to back out. Heading north, SECOND entrance!) Absolutely plan on going back. Be warned, it's in the south, so expect heat and humidity. Lots of both.
Our favorite OCP park! They treat you like family. Have met so many people that we now call friends 💜
