Good for kids
Camp site is great, but there is currently a downed tree in the river preventing easy access to the canoes from the river.
One of the places I would recommend going by and seeing even if you are not staying. The Ranger in charge of it is staying on top of everything making this a wonderful edition to the Florida parks system. The volunteers go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. They have found the best volunteers I have seen. The restrooms are clean and very well kept. Walks were clean and all trash was picked up. The shelters were clean and in good repair. If you are going down the river stop and see a hidden gem
Best campground hosts in Florida, hands down!
