While being close to I-90 means easy access, some visitors note that the freeway noise can be noticeable. However, for many, the trade-off of quick on-and-off access, especially after a long day of driving, far outweighs this consideration. The clear signage and straightforward approach to the campground ensure that navigation is simple, even for those arriving after dark.
Adrian itself is a small, friendly town in Nobles County, offering basic services and a local charm should you need to pick up supplies or explore the area. I feel badly giving only 4 stars but it was pretty loud all night-right next to busy freeway. Others may consider that a plus being easy and close to I90. Otherwise it’s a beautiful oasis with nice amenities-including laundry machines and a pool. Power and water at each site…really good water. Overall a lovely spot
This is a very good campground. The sites were very spacious and well taken care of. The staff was friendly and attentive. They even had Schwan's ice cream bars for sale inside. The bathrooms were clean and shower facilities were good. I would have preferred a locking, solid door on the outside of each shower stall instead of the traditional two-curtain setup, but it was still good.
Quiet, without revelers at our stay. Interstate noise carries to the campground, but that doesn't bother me. Clean showers/restrooms. Showers: the shower head points to the back, spraying away from the section where one dresses and have your clothes. The floor was dry there! Yippee!
Beautiful park with many tall trees and lots of room for playing or walking pets. Was able to get full hook ups plus firewood for $31. Bathrooms and showers in reasonable shape and clean. Stayed here twice when traveling through. Will return.
We camp here a few times each summer. Most of the sites are decently spaced and have mature trees for shade. We try to get a site near the bathroom/shower house and the park. There is a nice picnic shelter there with tables and walls. Power is also available in the picnic shelter. Some weekends in the summer there are activities for adults and kids. If you are camping you can use the city pool at no cost.
