Very nice Campground. We stayed there 2 nights with our tent. The lots are nice, the toilet and showers clean. The employees are very nice and helpful. There is a nice path a mile long to walk to the beach. They allowed us to stay until the end of the day in their parking lot on our last day without extra charge so we could go to the beach.
Campground is just the right size to let your kids bike around and not worry. Cabins are great and have a lot of beds for everyone . Pool and splash pad big enough you don’t feel cramped . The store is very convenient . Been going for the past 4 years and each year we add another family to our vacation! The more the merrier!
Our stays at Adventure Bound Campground are always a vacation we enjoy thoroughly! The staff is so helpful and welcoming, the bathrooms are so clean, the sites are always spacious and well manicured, and the location is wonderful! Hope u enjoy your stay as much as we ALWAYS do! Kim, Bob and Schulzi
James and his team always make sure your stay is pleasant. He makes a point to greet us during our stay. Camper and restrooms always clean. Great location, close to beaches and shopping. Bus loop makes it easy to get around.
Fantastic location and the staff was very kind and helpful. The bathrooms and showers were standard for campgrounds. Nothing fancy but gets the job done. The bad part for me was the sites had no privacy from one another are just butted right up against each other and since it’s in a coastal location, there really wasn’t much vegetation in between the sites to block off. we did a primitive site, not sure how the premium primitive sites would’ve been.
This is a great option to see the Cape in a cost effective way. It’s a step up from tent camping and the kids loved the experience. The location is very convenient and close to the beach. Provincetown is only a few minutes down the highway and definitely the go to destination.
I have no idea why the Hortons area (on south highland road) campground has low ratings on trip advisor. The location of this campground can’t be beat. You are a 5 min drive to Head of the Meadow beach ($25 entry), and a 15-20 min drive to beaches in Provincetown. There is a beach biking distance from the campground but it’s only for residents so unsure if they’d let a bike in without proof of residency. The property is right behind the Highland Lighthouse, we had a path from our campsite to the light house so that was an unexpected surprise- it’s gorgeous. The campsite was super secluded from neighboring campers, the woods was gorgeous, the bathrooms were clean, hot showers. Fire pit with a grill over it, a clothesline, and picnic table. I would say there are zero amenities other than that, but our family prefers that. Our kids had an absolute blast! We will definitely be back!
Be careful of the posted quiet hours / no fires after 11pm rule. At 11:06pm a man with a security vest came to our site, stated there were no fires after 11, and with no warning dumped a 5 gallon bucket of water on the fire, putting it out. It was a crazy, abrupt thing to do with no warnings given and no time to let the fire go out by itself. If you are ok with that kind of treatment at a campsite you pay for, stay at this campground. It completely turned our group off from the experience. Other than the strange staff, the site was decent, location is great and close to Provincetown
