Great camping location! Our Family goes almost every year. Staff is great to work with and kids love the activities and pool. We like to drive our golf cart around. Guest have been very friendly as well. They installed internet towers and that has been a game changer because I like to stay a little bit in touch.
This is a great place to party hard late into the night way past quiet hours without caring about anyone next to you! If you are bringing your family and want to get ANY SLEEP please avoid this place. Very disrespectful seasonal sites that had what appeared to be a commercial grade stereo system absolutely blasting music many hours past quiet time (11 pm is posted quiet time, both nights we were here they went until around 2 am). Lots of shouting and hollering way past quiet hours, also. The only useful dump site (#1) was closed which caused some issues when we were here but the staff helped accommodate us and solve the issue. The only reason they don't get one star is the staff here were very pleasant and helpful, and the kids enjoyed the arcade which had some fun options like air hockey and pool. Otherwise everyone was on top of each other, there was no privacy and the loud partying and music went early into the morning hours.
We spent a week at adventure bound in Cooperstown. It was an enjoyable week. The campground was clean and the staff were friendly. If I have one notable complaint (and I use the term lightly) was the condition of the roads within the campground. Typically campgrounds will have either paved or dirt roads. This particular campground had once upon a time paved roads that are not maintained leaving many potholes and uneven ground. The pool was nice however the adult supervision rule was not followed which left teenagers using profanity in front of small children. Overall we were very pleased with our stay
Tent sites tiny, can't use the small fire ring as it could set the neighbor's tent on fire. No enforcement of quiet time, drunk people screaming and speeding in golf carts all night. Will not be back.
Overall our stay was pretty good. Cabin was nicer than expected, right on the water, only complaint about the cabin is there were mouse droppings in the kitchen. There is not a lot close by so bring everything you need as far as groceries etc unless you want to spend a couple of hours going to the store and back. Fishing was amazing. Staff was friendly. If you want peace and tranquility this is NOT the place for you. Seasonal campers basically running wild. Blaring horns on their golf carts, screaming unsupervised children running amuck. 5 mph speed limit is laughable. There is zero supervision, no park patrol, no one saying "hey, you cant blast your stereo at 5 am as your driving through the park." It is unfortunate that such behavior will keep us from going back, it is a beautiful setting.
