This is great place to hold a family reunion! For the past 3 years, we have held family reunions here. This was the first year we visited under "Adventures RV Resort" and I must say...WHAT AN UPGRADE! I was pleasantly surprised that we no longer need to bring bedding and towels. This makes packing and hauling a whole lot easier! The cabins have been renovated and are very nice. We stayed at the Hideaway Haven cabins, and there's an outdoor bar with marble countertops at each cabin. Perfect for outdoor cooking and serving. The pool at the cabins was clean and refurbished. The public pools at the front of the campground were nicely kept, and the lazy river was AWESOME...the swim up bar was definitely a plus! And let's not forget the slides!! The entire campground was clean, well groomed and well maintained. The ease of renting golf carts was a nice touch as well. Last, but certainly not least, the staff was amazing and friendly! We could not have asked for a more relaxing and fun trip!! I can't wait for our next trip!
Tent camping has a nice area but just water access and a clean nice showers/ toilet area. No fire pits or wood so I'd take some with you. Also, if you plan to use the basketball courts, pickle ball, volleyball bring your own balls and paddles because they didn't have any available. If you plan to use the "heated pool" bring a wet suit cause it's cold! 🥶 Overall we had a fun time!
Stayed here for my son’s birthday a few weeks ago and my family was treated poorly by one of the staff members, ruining my 7year old celebration. The worker constantly antagonized and rode past our camp making everyone uncomfortable. Upon leaving, I let the front desk know what was going on and I was assured that the situation would be resolved. 2 days after, I received an email asking to rate the place… any thing less than 5 stars, they want you to write them personally. I did that and let them know all of the things we encountered but no response what so ever.
Adventures RV Resort called and offered to renew our 2025 memberships. Im glad because my family loves to go there and I hated what they were doing with current members. We as a family were totally prepared to never go back if that was the business decision they were going to take. I'm glad they changed their minds. The place is turning out wonderful with all the new upgrades and attractions they are adding. I really can't wait for Summer 2025 and the prime of camping season.
We enjoyed our stay this past weekend so much. We celebrated my twin boys 15th birthday and they want to do it again next year. The renovations that were done since our stay last year were so nice! We rented the cozy cajun and enjoyed everything about it, including the swings outside and the outside cooking area. The only complaint would be that we could have used a stick vacuum to help keep up with all the sand being tracked in especially since you could tell the broom we had had seen better days. We absolutely plan on staying here again in the future.
