Alabama Coast Campground

We’ve been staying here for just over three months collectively, spanning three seasons. Summer was relatively pleasant—few tenants, and access to laundry facilities was seamless. However, as Autumn arrived, the complex became increasingly crowded, though still manageable. Then came Winter, which has been nothing short of a disaster. If you rely on medical equipment that requires water, be prepared for serious disruptions. The property management has a habit of shutting off the water for 10-12 hours or more during freezing temperatures—despite the fact that we’ve paid for full utilities. As for laundry, don’t bother hoping you’ll have a smooth experience. With overcrowding, incessantly loud and disruptive small dogs, and an overall lack of consideration from fellow tenants, you’re much better off finding a laundromat elsewhere. Winter here is a chaotic, frustrating ordeal. If you value basic amenities, peace, and reliability, I strongly recommend looking for another place to stay. You get what you pay for.

Absolutely love this campground. So nice and peaceful. Well kept and clean. Most reasonable prices around. Yes the laundry washers and dryers are free to use. Manager is very nice and available on site. Beaches are only 10 miles away.

This is a great lil park. Some nice shady areas. Laundry on site. We'll kept up.

I really enjoy my stays at this campgrounds. Very peaceful and quiet, and it's becoming rare to find rv parks with trees and shade! I love that there are trees at this campgrounds. I'm a nature lover, so this is a perfect choice for me. Also, it's in a great location, central to everything you'd want to do, management answers questions promptly. Cute community areas, and dog parks, just all around best spot for a reasonable rate. Wifi, water and electric included and the sites are spacious and feel private. 5 ☆s in my opinion! 😀

This is our 6th year at Alabama Coast Campground spending 3-5 mos & as long as we come to this area this is where we'll be. The owner is always quick to respond to all issues & inquiries. He even stops to chat now & then. It's minutes away from shopping, restaurants, laundromat, festivities, etc. The park is well groomed, kept clean & neat. It is quiet & everyone is always friendly. Oh! & reasonably priced. Thanks for all you do Phil to make our stay pleasant & memorable!
