Alamogordo / White Sands KOA Journey

This is the best KOA we have stayed at. Bathrooms are clean, private shower rooms, temperature inside was comfortable and not freezing. Excellent Staff who were friendly and helpful and always smiling and asking if we needed anything. We were only there for one night and it happened to be entertainment night with a 7 piece guitar group made of retired air force men. We enjoyed it! We highly recommend this location.

Nice KOA. Nice shop, nice rec room, nice bathrooms, decent playset! We enjoyed our time here for sure (in our travel trailer) cute cats around. Willy the dog in the shop was so cute my boys loved him!

We stayed here 2 nights. The location was perfect for seeing the various tourist spots such as the Space Museum, White Sands National Park, and Pistachio Land. It's also convenient to restaurants and shopping. This KOA is probably the nicest one we've found so far. The sites are spacious, the restrooms, bathhouse, and laundry area are very clean. The dump station is easy to get in and out of. The dog park is shaded and we'll taken care of. No grass in the dog park (wood chips) but there isn't any dirt and it's so easy to pick up after your dog. The owner and staff are all super nice and are helpful with recommendations on things to do in the area.

Very well managed and well maintained. Every staff member I encountered was so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was good. Tent site was large. Location is near a lot of stores (if you need them) and not too far from the National Park. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing KOA with the nicest staff! We loved our stay here. Perks were the free sleds/wax for white sands, live music on Friday, morning coffee, popcorn for the kiddos, and the owner Sandy was just wonderful, we will definitely be back to stay here. What a wonderful atmosphere ❤️
