The KOA is about 35 minutes from the Sand Dunes. We stayed for 2 nights with a group of friends, we had 2 cabins and a tent spot and everything was very clean and organized. The showers were clean and hot and there is a second bathroom block on the back side of the campground. They deliver wood and ice right to your camp spot which was awesome. Free coffe every morning! And they offer breakfast, lunch and dinner items. We got a breakfast burrito one morning for about $10 and it was delicious. The have some fun things for kids to do as well and they rent sand boards which is so convenient. We really enjoyed our stay!

This was one of the best KOA campgrounds we have stayed in. Very nice site looking out at the mountains. The staff was friendly and helpful and they had the cleanest, most well equipped laundry room I've seen in a long time. Will definitely go on our repeat list.

Liked being a little away from town. Super friendly staff. Pool was nice. Beds in cabin were comfortable. Mini fridge in cabin. Enjoyed a pancake breakfast. Lots of items in the store if you forgot anything.

Campground was good. Planned on staying for a night after visiting the sand dunes during the day but ended up staying 3 nights due to bad winter storms over the mountain pass that we need to go over to get to our next place. Very easy to navigate park, great customer service, and site was perfect for our size rig and accessories. Location of power, sewer, and water was great and close to where our rig was located within the space. Easy to connect and disconnect. Some parts of the park roads had sizeable potholes, but it was easy to navigate around them. We did get a lot of rain while there because of the winter storm in the area, no snow thankfully. Site was around 70' long. We camped at Alamosa KOA Journey in a Motorhome.

Convenient location off of the highway just a east of Alamosa. Very friendly staff that assisted me with a late arrival and early departure. Clean site, easy access to services. Highly recommend.
