One of the best campgrounds I have ever been to! Definitely the best my wife and I have been to together! Our site had a nice peaceful stream rolling down the hillside and our site was isolated from the others. The camp hosts were also very kind and friendly! I hope we can come back and visit sometime and camp here again!
Quiet, beautiful and just the spot for a hot day.
This place is amazing. We were looking for lakes to swim at and everywhere was either packed or didnt exactly have public access and then we remembered about this place. I remember coming here and camping once when i was a kid and then after my grandmother died. Its so peaceful and quiet. Its my happy place.
For a first time visitor in many years there have been a lot of changes that are not posted upon entrance. Campground is clean, and sites are nice, but the beginning hassle was stressful and could be avoided with proper postings.
Idk I’m sad that the entire campground is now surrounded by houses. Good job Idaho on becoming Texas and selling off all your public land ! At least I got to come here as a kid and enjoy it.
