Amazing view and helpful staff.
Well maintained with bathrooms on mainland for before you hit the water. 8 cars in the parking area on a Monday night in late July. 2 campsites are reserved of 18 available (reserved or first come, first served) this season. Looking forward to camping on the island!
Wonderful kayak camping trip. Sites were clean and tidy, awesome location near town, easy access by car and kayak to campsite.
We were already camping at Lake Eaton, so we were able to use the launch area for free. Clean rest rooms, great place for lunch, and nice dock to laugh from.
Love the island. Most favorite primitive camping area. You will need a boat lol. It is an island 😂. Soooo many people actually book this place assuming that there is a ferry or something. There is not lmao. But it's not a long ride over. You don't need anything too fancy. A conoe will do the job.
