The view is amazing, the jacuzzi was wonderful to be in during light snow flurries, the everything was clean and accommodated perfectly. The snow men were a cute touch. I definitely recommend this place for a family or big group. There's enough room and some extra cot mattresses in the basement along with the 2 beds and bathroom.
Had a great week in the chalet. Fantastic view of Whiteface and close to everything in the High Peaks Region. Our dog enjoyed cooling off in the river adjacent to the property. Plenty private location so you don’t feel like you are too close to any of the neighbors. Their were ten of us plus a dog and we were plenty comfortable.
Beautiful comfortable house with a gorgeous view, but there was a bit of deceptive marketing: the river was significantly farther from the house than expected, and the house and deck were not nearly as clean as either the Airbnb rating or the many rules lead us to expect. On the whole though, it was a lovely place to stay and there was lots of space in the woods for my young kids to enjoy.
Amazing place to chill for a few days. Went with a group of 7 ppl and there was too much space. The views are amazing. The only thing I would add is instructions to bring slippers or maybe the owner provides a couple of pairs
