Great free campground! Only one site suitable for a car to pull in (site #4 - first one on the right when you reach the signs) the others are too tight and walking in with a tent would be easier. Pretty little pond, campfire ring, picnic table and ample space. Not busy when we visited on 6/3/24. Decent amount of bugs in the evening but manageable
This was mine and my friends' first time primitive camping and it was so much fun! Portapotty was pretty clean and taken care of and our campsite had a nice fire pit. Would love to come back!
This was a great roadside camp with a decent amount of spots. Some of them are even large enough to share if the original camper is okay with that. It was convenient to camp for a night before waking up early to hike up Hunter Mountain. I will use it again in the future if I need to arrive late before a backpacking trip.
It was kind of rainy but still awesome! All the campsites have Wonderful privacy and the outhouse is maintained well
Great place for winter camping 🏕️
Decent little camping area. Sites are well dispersed. Parking on-site is only available at one of the sites. For the others you'll have to carry your gear a hundred or so feet off the road.
