2025 - Warning to All The RV Park has changed management/ownership, and has instituted new reservation policies. The new reservation policy requires a "deposit" in the amount of one night stay. THIS DEPOSIT WILL NEVER BE REFUNDED. I have stayed in this RV park every year for the past several years. However I have to have eye surgery, so when I called to cancel my reservation 10 days in advance, I was told that they have no refunds. They do allow you to "Forward" your deposit to a new time/Reservation date. But that's not the same thing as giving you your money back. I sincerely urge the new owners to give this a rethink.
We frequent Chico and when we’re passing through in our RV, we always stay a night or two at the Almond Tree. Super friendly folks, great clean park, and very good location. We always ride our bikes into downtown for coffee and a pastry and shopping at the wonderful little local shops downtown. We follow it up with a ride through Bidwell park all the way up to Horseshoe lake before riding back to the Almond Tree. It’s a tradition that never gets old.
Well maintained. Clean bathroom and club house. Easy access for the rig. Gravel pads are well drained. Takes AAA and GoodSam for a reasonable discount. Allows pets for a small added charge.
It has a very nice arv park that has a pool laundry facilities, bathrooms and helpful staff. Just be aware that your RV must be in great condition if it is over 10 years old. Or they will not let you stay. They have no breed restrictions on pets. A nice little store is a great location.
Booked two nights, only stayed one. Perhaps it was because we were placed so close to the road, but it was noisy and made it tough to sleep. The park is very clean, and the spaces are roomy. This is a small park, the store did not stock much, the pool was pretty small but again, nice and clean.
