We arrived to find some standing water in the well groomed lawns. A couple hours of dry sunny weather later still some standing water in areas. It is Saturday afternoon in June and nearly full. There are even some tent only campers in full hookup sites. Nice beach access all along the campground. Sites are fairly close to each other, with no plants between them. More of a communal affair than I prefer, but the place is well kept and is a good full service campground before or after crossing the Mackinac bridge where more primitive sites are the rule.
We enjoyed our stay at Aloha State Campground! The site was well-maintained, and the surrounding nature was beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our short visit comfortable. However, the bathroom stalls were a bit of a surprise. They don’t go all the way up to the ceiling, so when you walk around the corner, you can see into each stall. It was a little shocking at first, but overall, it didn’t detract too much from our experience. We stayed for one night to do the bridge walk and would definitely consider coming back!
Great location on a beautiful lake Mullet. One section has fill hookup sites, a rare treat for State Park campgrounds.
This was our second time coming to Aloha State campground. We love it here. The campsites are large, it's quiet, there's access to the water, great trails, and the Aloha Store is awesome.
We camp in the full hookup area and love this park on Mullet Lake. Great donuts at the Aloha Store.
