Alpine Lodge At Red Feather Lakes

Had an amazing time at Alpine Lodge! The owners were all very sweet and accommodating of our needs. We're a large family and needed space for everyone, the Wolf Den was very clean and had the amenities we needed, it was perfect for all of us. The location was beautiful and just down the road from perfect places for hiking, fishing, paddle boarding, swimming, sightseeing, and horseback riding! We will certainly be returning to Alpine Lodge, and we'll gladly use it as our getting away destination! Thank you to the owners!

The Alpine Lodge at Red Feather Lakes was amazing. My Family and I had a wonderful time. The kids had a place to play at the playground. We enjoyed Dowdy lake, horse back riding, a beautiful hike, Gnome Road and ice cream all just minutes away from the camp site. I loved how clean the park, and our cabins were. They truly took the time to pay attention to small details like reading material in our cabin, linen that smelled fresh and clean. The little things that matter. I Can’t wait to come again, making it a yearly visit with our family. Special memories were created, and we are most definitely happy campers. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

Decided to stay here for a few days after camping at Dowdy Lake for a week. We needed a place to dump, and they do have full hook-ups, so that was helpful. Otherwise, the vibe here is slightly off and I probably wouldn’t stay here again. Yes, they clearly state that they have no restrooms and only two outhouses on their website, but what they do not say is how absolutely disgusting they are. No toilet paper, stained seats… just gross. No excuse for that. We also paid $25 per dog (we have 2) for our stay, which for a campground is asking a little much. I didn’t mind, until one of the dogs that I assume was part of the owner’s extended family wandered into our site, off leash, even though their website says dogs must be on a leash at all times. My dog, who was leashed, has anxiety, and was agitated by this dog (who seemed harmless, but still… follow your own rules!)… finally, saw someone drive by, roll down their window, and flip off the place… I’m sure the tiny homes are charming… so maybe try those… but this place could’ve been so cool… but failed.

Booked a last minute overnight stay in a tiny house for a wedding we were attending in Red Feather. I had never stayed in a tiny house and I loved it! It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Wish we would've been able to stay longer. The whole property was awesome. I can't wait to go back with our kids to stay in one of the cabins and explore a lot more!

My experience here was awful, in my opinion you'd be a lot better off camping in your own backyard. Here they just charge you to camp in their backyard and all you get is a gravely dirt driveway to camp in. I imagine it might be okay as a rest stop while driving cross-country in your RV, but for a tent site it was miserable. I like to camp one of two ways,, either full nature, with forests to walk around in and lakes to swim in, while really roughing it. Or in a campsite that has showers and other amenities. This place has neither.There's no nature, no hiking, no access to any lakes or forests, really nothing to do at all but just sit there in your dirt driveway. There is no access to water or power. The campsite itself was completely surrounded by no trespassing signs, a constant reminder that this was not nature and we were not allowed to walk even a foot off of our site. I booked two nights but left after the first night because it was just not any fun to be there. I do not recommend and I will not be going back.
