Nice and peaceful campground during both our stays "winter months". The owners are super sweet and very talkative. Most campsites have good privacy and lots of greenery between them..this is so nice to have right outside the city. The campground looks well maintained/clean but the facilities could use an upgrade. Everything worked as far as laundry machines and bathhouse showers so no complaints. This isn't a "resort style campground" and the prices reflect that. Reasonable for the grounds. There were some long term campers on sites that may look to some people kinda sketchy but we had zero issues with other campers. Very quiet our entire weekend. Will definitely stay here again when we return to WA.

This is one of the most beautiful campgrounds I have ever stayed at, especially considering how conveniently close to town they are. There is plenty of space between most sites, and the trees provide unusual privacy. Ms. Rita and her grandsons are three of the nicest people you will ever meet. All of our hookups worked flawlessly, and I felt very safe during our stay. After staying here you will never be able to tolerate a corporate-run campground again. Don’t forget to visit Rembrandt The Ram & his chickens!

One of the best campsites we’ve ever been to! Incredibly friendly staff, great and clean facilities, close to town. We felt very safe and got to enjoy the views of nature in the morning. Would recommend!

Horrible place. I’ve stayed here twice now and I’ll never come back. Place has gone down hill. They let drug users stay here now. During my last and final stay had a lady and a guy ask if I wanted to buy some dope I guess they maybe thought I ran in their circle because I was a bit dirty when I came back from a hike in capital forest. During my stay a couple who apparently lives there in their trailer with a gazillion dogs had the cops called on them because they were yelling and screaming at each other and throwing things. Told the owner about this the next morning and she shrugged her shoulders and said they’ve been here awhile and are normally good people I’ll go have a talk with them. Told her Dylan about the person who offered to sell me dope and he said I’m welcome to check out if I don’t like it but they won’t refund the rest of my stay since I paid for all 4 nights and this was only night 1.

This is a great place to stay, large private campsites in the trees. The lady at the office is the same one that was there two years ago when we stayed here. She is very helpful, helps you back into sites and is very accommodating. I would highly recommend staying here.
