I was in town for a wedding, in which I was a bridesmaid. While my overall experience at the hotel started well, It then changed when I was falsely charged $500 for a smoking fee. On the second night of our stay, around midnight, my friend noticed that the smoke detector in our room was covered with plastic. Since we were leaving early the next morning, we assumed it might be under maintenance and decided to go to sleep. The room was clean and had no unusual odors, so we did not investigate further. However, upon checking my bank account after returning home, I was alarmed to find a $500 charge. I immediately called the front desk and was informed that a note stated the smoke detector had plastic on it and that ashes were allegedly found in the room. This was shocking, as we had no involvement in this incident. I was directed to speak with the manager, Samantha, who said she would need a few days to investigate the matter with the staff. I called back as instructed, but she was unavailable again. Despite my efforts to communicate with staff, I have not received any acknowledgment, apology, or solution. Additionally, it is highly concerning that a safety hazard like a plastic-covered smoke detector and alleged ashes would go unnoticed before assigning the room to guests. This is unacceptable and puts the health and safety of guests at risk. Samantha, the general manager of the location, was very rude and unhelpful. She did not take my complaint seriously. This is my first time experiencing something like this.
I recently stayed at this hotel, and I have to say, cleanliness is my top priority—and this place exceeded my expectations. The entire hotel was spotless, from the rooms to the common areas. The location was also nice and quiet, which added to the relaxing atmosphere. The room was pleasantly dark at night, and I had a fantastic sleep. I did encounter a minor inconvenience with my door, as it stuck and didn’t latch properly a few times, making it tricky to get in. While this hotel is priced higher than others in the area, the cleanliness and overall upkeep make it worth it. The breakfast was decent with a good variety of options, and the area was always well-stocked and immaculate. If cleanliness and a restful night’s sleep are as important to you as they are to me, this hotel is a great choice.
A friend and I stayed 2 nights at this hotel for a wedding. Our hotel was not terrible. The rooms were very outdated but seemed to be clean for the most part. Once we had left, the next day we noticed a charge in our account. This hotel has scammed us with unnecessary fees and charges that were not made by me or the other guest. We were falsely accused of tampering with the smoke alarm and leaving ashes in the room and were charged $500 for this. The manager Samatha was EXTREMELY rude and unhelpful with this entire situation. We are both young, nursing students who do not smoke what so ever and cannot believe we got charged for this. Do not recommended this place!!!!!
First visit at this property, enjoyed the stay. The location is good just off of the expressway and close to everything we were going to visit. The staff is very friendly and available the moment we entered. Our room looked to be freshly rebuilt. I enjoyed the vinyl floors, the bathroom had a chair height toilet and great bath/shower tub combination. The only things if I could change them would be the location of the elevator, not centrally located and the firmness of the bed, still comfortable.
Brenda was amazing. She was so kind and I wish all customer service people were like her. We got there very late on Christmas Eve after a rough trip and I just loved her. Thank you Brenda!
