We have been to Ames Brook a few times the last few years. We are pretty new to RVing. We love this place! Clean, quiet even with kids there. Pool is great. The seasonal folks are terrific. Dog friendly! We tried to book for long weekend, they were booked , last minute cancellation, they called & we jumped on it. Great location!!

My family stayed in August 2024 and we were thoroughly impressed with this campground. They had activities on Friday & Saturday nights. We used their pool, arcade room & laundry room and all were up to our satisfaction. The seasonal campers made us feel welcomed and comfortable. We liked our stay so much that we added an additional few days! We had to change sites, because ours was booked, but it was no problem at all. Seems like no matter what site we were at, we had a great time! Each site has privacy, plenty of space. We especially loved our site at #42 - it was tough to get the camper in due to it being down in a dead end area but that's also what made it so amazing was no one being on one side and the babbling brook behind the site. Highly recommend this campground!

We have been camping up here for the last couple of years and just love it. Campground is clean, friendly and well kept. Love the walking paths, train passing by and large sites. We will definitely be coming back. Also exploring the area was fun and rewarding. Farm stands, covered bridges and breweries to top the list.

great spot next to the brook. site was clean and lots of room. This is a popular spot in the summer and be aware they do have a 7 day min for July and August stays. Since we are weekend warriors we waited until after peak summer season to visit. Plymouth is 6 miles away and Holderness is 10 miles away. both great locations for food.

We stayed one night at Ames. We had a beautiful spot next to the Brook Diane could not have been nicer. At one point we lost our car keys and she took out the golf cart and went looking for them. Although it was only one night, our stay was excellent. We highly recommend Ames Campground!!

Ames Brook is an awesome campground, my family and friends love it there. We have gone there two years in a row with a group of friends and were able to get 4 sites right next to each other over looking the brook. We are already booked for next year. The campground is family owned and you can tell, that is one of the perks. Everyone is very nice, welcoming and accommodating, Dianne is amazing and ready to help. The campground is very clean all around, I did not see a single piece of trash left behind on the site (we often do at other campgrounds). I give this campground 2 thumbs up and 5 stars across the board. When planning for your next camping trip put Ames Brook on the top of the list, it will not disappoint.

Took us a while to visit. Always booked up and our scheduling. Finally got to stay there for a week over the holiday. I must say I was impressed from the time I pulled in. It's not a theme park or a water park, It's good old fashioned camping. Don't get me wrong. It's got a playground. It's got a pool. It's got activities for kids but it's camping. Clean. Well organized. Well maintained, good sized level sites, wooded sites. Modern full hookups. All the buildings, grounds and facilities clean well maintained. Friendly helpful staff , owners on site. Would highly recommend to everyone, This is truly a New Hampshire hidden gem!
