This is a really cool place. We stop in while they were having one of their tractor shows it was really neat. They had tons pedal tractors along with a lot of other really nice antique tractors. Most of the tractors were in really good shape. They had several food vendors. We stopped and got ourselves some tenderloins they were really great! They also have a really nice place to camp. Friendly staff! I would highly recommend this place!
We have camped at Amishville for 2 or 3 generations. It's a great place to be. The current owners are making a lot of improvements. I'm anxious to go back this year to see what all they have done. It's definitely our go to spot.
This place is horrible. They rented us a site unseen before we paid. And look at the photos and no refund so we were stuck here. If it wasn't for my 250.00 dollars I paid for 3 days for 2 sites I would of left.also no hot water in the shower houses. I do not reccomend this place at all !!!
Our 1st time here. PROS: Prices were reasonable for a full hookup can't. Overall clean location. CONS: nightly lots are small and puts you right on top of your neighbor. (Annual lots appeard to be about 3-4x as large) Our lot was pretty slopey so it was hard to get leveled and spent the 2 days walking up and down hill in our camper. The interior of the community restroom was painted dark brown so a bit gloomy and dreary with only a few lights present. Pop.and vending machines were empty and unplugged. Our Stay: Day 1 was pretty quiet and peaceful Most of day 2 there were people in a golf cart riding up and down the main drag where we were with their radio blasting till almost 10 at night or the teenage girls across the lane screaming and yelling back and forth to each other (non violently) Oh and I forgot to mention how my teenage daughter and her friend got cursed at by a young teen boy and his friend while they were at the fishing pond. Check in process was easy since there was no one at the office during our entire stay. (We called and was told how to checkin). Id.like to.say it was a great visit, but honestly cant.
Beautiful park, W/E with dump onsite. Wish we could have stayed longer.
We come here every year.. fantastic facilities, staff, office people. They solve any issues in quick time. Highly recommend. They have a lot of activities and a nice shop for those things you forgot and of course some tasty treats.
The events are not organized. Poker run didnt start on time, not enough bingo cards. Flyer said campers were $5 for campers for the tractor pulls when it was actually $10. Karaoke was a sing along to youtube. Karafun is cheap and easy to use. The building that "holds" the DJ/ Karaoke was loud and crammed they should hold these events in the open pavilion. The bathrooms/out house were filthy water barely came out in the showers. The office was closed more than it was open. Its been 1 disappointed after another. The only good thing was our camping spots.
Entire camp ground was super friendly, making this my main camp spot, 11/10 would live here if I could
