Very nice park! The Park Ranger (a long-haired white lady, maybe mid to late thirties) was over-the-top nice to myself and the three. Holden who accompanied me. She taught them a few things about safety and gave them temporary tattoos! I was also visited by two Game Wardens who were very courteous as well! Very clean accommodations!

Car broke down and while walking to a local garage I found bottles of liquor in the ditch. All of a sudden the sheriff showed up and ordered me to put the liquor back or else I could contribute to the Prisoner Refreshment Fund. I put it all back, but thought it was a nice gesture to reward prisoners who were working in the hot Middle GA sun. If more sheriffs did this sort of thing maybe prisoners wouldn’t escape so much.

Great boat ramp, the dock is a little bit away from the ramp. The facilities are very clean and plenty of room to park.

The water was very dirty and we all went home smelling like fish and clay. On the positive side I didn't see garbage in the sand and there were restrooms near by and a few parks!
