Perfect for an overnight stop in the Twin Falls area. An older mom and pop RV park with mature trees and lots of green grass that has a campground feel. Lots of shade. Mostly 50 ft graveled pull-through sites. Friendly service when we called from the road and a very reasonable rate. Yes you can hear traffic from the freeway but that should be obvious so don’t complain. We rested well here and would recommend it to others.
Our stay was enjoyable for the most part, lots of grass for yard games and we never noticed in road noise, which was nice. But the cabins were unbearable to sleep in. We had to sleep with the doors open & cool off in the car because it was so hot. We noticed others experienced the same thing. I think the cabins should have some sort of window ac unit as inside of them as it was over 100 inside of them. I would love to know if updating the cabin’s temperatures is something that will happen. The only other thing we didn’t love was how many spiderwebs covered the picnic tables and lights by the doors. Bathrooms could be a little more cleanly, but I knew it wouldn’t be all glamorous, it’s a campsite. The convenience store was nice to have on site & was very affordable/comparable to other gas stations. We had hoped to use the pool, but it closes at 8pm & we just didn’t have time. The staff we encountered was overall pretty nice & respectful. Next time we stay we will make sure it’s in a cooler month.
We have a 43' motor home. No markings for entrance or where to register. Entry road area was terrible, what black top there is needs serious repair. Roads need graded and holes filled. Sites not level and holes filled. Don't know how they got the high ratings.
My wife and I went RVing recently and stayed here during our trip. The person at the front desk was very nice. The grounds, the views out back and our lot were really nice. Overall, this is a nice place; however, the location, the bathrooms and the buildings have issues. We could hear the traffic since the park is near the highway. The bathrooms were very dirty and in need of being thoroughly cleaned. There was yellow film and hairs in the showers and around the drains and on the shower floors. The exteriors of the buildings need maintenance as well (just a cleaning and a fresh coat of paint). Otherwise, we liked our stay.
My husband and I argued about whether to leave a 4 or 5 star review. He demanded a 5. I am giving a 4, as I didn’t use any amenities. That said, our experience was a 5. The staff worked daily to keep the areas of grass watered and mowed ( weed whacked, etc ). Our Eskipoo loved the large grassy area along the fence to chase squirrels. I loved it for the views of the barley fields with sprinklers, crop dusting airplanes, and beautiful sunsets. Location was very convenient ( although the highway construction throughout the state was a bit of a detractor ). Sights and trails nearby were great. Several days we just hung out in our large, grassy, shady space when I had to work ( I work remotely ). The cherry trees were amazing! We picked and ate cherries from many of the trees throughout the park. I’ve never done that before! The long term guests were super nice. After leaving there, we’ve often mentioned how great it was… and wished we had used the pool (s). They had a regular pool with the water slides and a geothermal pool. A playground that reminded us of our childhood, but in great shape, and well cared for. The driveway in WAS TERRIBLE. HUGE POTHOLES… rough first impression. Especially as the first impression is a gas station/ convenience store. Don’t let that detract you. Overall, once settled, it was great!!
