Don’t share your favorite swim holes. Except, this place is THE BEST. It’s a MUST VISIT if you’re in SLT. Even the road up there is a special event. BUT, parking is severely restricted, and you have to pay $10 for that privilege. so go early. There’s food and drink at the Upper Lake.
There are a number of cliffs- a little difficult to access- one about 30 feet and one very high about 60 feet, which they recommend with a wink in the gift shop that you don't jump off of. There however is an element of danger to be warned of. There are a few large pine logs floating in the lake which are fun to balance on and play with, boats etc. for rent and a nice beach for sunning and bathing.
Falling leaf lake is right out of the 1950s. A bit of a tedious road to get there, but worth it. Nice falls about a mile further.
It was not too crowded. Beautiful. Sunny. Warm. Just amazing summer vibes
Exquisite mountain resort with glorious views of the lake. My cousin Joe come up here every year. Came here in late December on a snow day and loved seeing the beautiful snow as it fell from the sky. Good skiing in this town as well I skied down to the lake after a powder day.
