Great campsite. We had spot 15 on the lower loop so we were right by the Poudre. They had several paths directly down to the lake. Clean campground and vault bathrooms. Lots of traffic and those fun people that just like driving by campgrounds honking several times. Other than the loud night traffic it was an absolutely beautiful spot. They do not have electric plug ins.
Great campground in the Poudre River Valley. This year we needed our rain gear and bug spray. Far enough away from everything to disconnect but close enough drive to Fort Collins to enjoy one of the many great breweries.
Great location... awesome views of the river and canyon. Site #4 was perfect for solar and Starlink.
Visited in mid-March during the week and there were plenty of sites available. The river is more of a creek at this time of the year but still a beautiful place to camp. The only campground open until May. Above 7500' all of the campgrounds and trailheads were still snowed in
Easy walk along the road (there isn't a sidewalk but that isn't a big deal) if you're seeing a show at The Mish. Campground was tidy and close to the river which we found relaxing to sleep near. If the sound of water will keep you up, maybe book something elsewhere. Also, the listed car and tent maximums are legit, don't be thinking you'll squeeze an extra car in :)
