From beginning to end was not easy to deal with. Hard to get anyone to return your phone call. Initially when I made reservation the older lady said pay upon arrival. Spoke again to ask if I can check in early, they said not a problem. One week before, they call saying we HAVE to pay for camping immediately. Seemed sketchy but did it anyways. Confirmed an early check in, again. They were supposed to send me a receipt and map of campground. Never received it. Upon arrival there are no signs to show you where to check in. Campsite number missing. Spoke w another couple, their standard size RV was struggling to fit in their space, they too could find no employees. No one answering phone so I texted. Got a rude response saying we are early, check in at 3. Person will not answer phone calls to figure this situation out. No idea what to do w trash at the end. Tent camping, though private, was near a scary junk yard/shed and a questionable looking cage that you wonder if it’s for dogs or humans. Definitely going back to Eminence. Definitely picking a different campsite.

Can’t recommend. Dirty cloth on floor next to bed. Dead bug surrounded by ants. Very pricey and not very clean. Reported TV not working, no one ever came to fix it. Reported all at time of check out, no refund or reduction in bill offered. Also was told on the phone that hot tub had replacement part ordered and should be repaired in time for visit. There was not even a hot tub there!!

Had the most peaceful wonderful time!! Full hook up and no problems! No one to bother us!Right on the river! Went up the road for dinner at RS Steakhouse for supper. Food and service was great! Homemade ice cream was amazing! We will be back!

Beautiful place! Rented a beautiful 4 bedroom cabin that was absolutely perfect for the 4 couples in our party. Very close to the river and the hosts Dean and Erma are amazing! They are just opening things up and if we needed anything they provided it for us. We are already planning to return next year and hope to stay longer!!! Thanks Apple Jacks 21!!

My neice came down with my 3 great nephews and Everyone had a great time. They loved having a cabin so close to the river and at such a great spot. They loved seeing the horses and waving at all the canoes passing by. The cabin was clean and comfortable and the owner , Erma, checked in regularly to make sure all was well. A definite 5 🌟 from us.

We had a great float and stay at Applejacks. I booked camper 5 and 6 without photos, map of campground, or any inclination of what I was getting into. No description of amenities needed or where the campers were located in relation to the river. I took a chance because we needed somewhere to stay. Could not get anyone on the phone multiple times. Took 2 emails before I got a reply. Campers were in full sun about 100 yards from river. No rock/sandbar to hang on. Water heater and pilot lights were not on. No linens. 1 toilet paper roll. No dish rag or towels. No plates, silverware, skillet, etc. There was literally nothing in this camper except for a toilet paper roll, coffee maker and 2 pillows. I emailed prior to arriving asking all these questions and it went unanswered. Phone also. All that being said, I would book here again but the communication and advertising needs to be addressed. Their best asset is the bar area. Large open air bar overlooking the river unlike anything else down there. That would be a huge selling point if advertised better. There is also no brick oven pizza as mentioned on the site.
