Here’s what our guests have to say about their experience at Applewood RV Resort:

  • "Great staff. Very clean laundry and bathrooms. My lot was close to the road so there was some road noise, but the other lots are in a better position. It was a convenient location in Denver, and there are trails that go all the way to Golden if you like walking."
  • "We stayed at Applewood for 1 month and were pleasantly delighted with this urban RV park. Located with easy access to I-70 and all major routes, and next to a sweet city park connected to the Clear Creek bike trail! Excellent! The staff are very sweet and helpful, and after 5 years of full-time RV living, I have to say the bathrooms are the BEST! Each shower is its own room with a sink and commode. Spacious and quiet!"

Applewood RV Resort by Rjourney is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. We are closed on Sundays. For any inquiries or assistance, feel free to contact us directly by phone.

Great staff. Very clean laundry and bathrooms. My lot was close to the road (E10) so there was road noise. The other lots are in a better position. It was a convenient location in Denver. And there are trails that go all the way to golden if you like walking. Golden isn't far and a beautiful town with lots of outdoor culture and restaurants in the foothills of the Rockies.

It was a fine enough spot, and the park with long walking trail behind was a bonus. But if you brought a big camper and not a car, this area is not very walking friendly. Bathrooms are as you'd expect for a shared facility, clean enough but still a lot of people for 8 shared restrooms. Laundry was spendy since one dryer wasn't working, but clean area. For a spot that also caters to long term usage it wasn't bad, but not a place I intend to revisit.

I had to go pump my tanks in my camper for my long drive to Missouri. The 2 gentlemen that helped me, don't know their names but one said he was a Texan and moved to Denver from Oregan (I think). They were both very gracious and kind and did not hesitate to help when asked to. It's a nice place to dump your tanks, $20 and easy in and out access.

Nice park, usually quiet. And clean. We've stayed here more than once. But we booked a 9 day stay months ahead of time for our most recent visit. Then later we received an email solicitation with a Holiday Discount Offer. So we called to add 3 days to our stay and they told us we aren't allowed to use the discount offer they emailed to us because we had already booked. Not great customer service if they want to keep people coming back.
