Quiet mountain getaway, with gracious hospitality and clean accommodations. Stayed in the Kiowa cabin, with the bathrooms being one door down- it was easy and would recommend for those who don’t mind walking to use the potty or shower. Incredibly dog friendly. Plenty of activities to keep the adventures going and close enough to town for food and shopping.
A great little getaway in the snow! We can’t wait to come back and experience it in the summer. The staff was very friendly, and the cabin was well-appointed with a kitchen and bathroom. We enjoyed snowshoeing and ice skating on the property using the equipment they provided. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay!
Great experience at Arapaho Valley Ranch! We booked a tent site, which was easy to do online. The check-in in the lodge was quick, and the employee was friendly and notified us of the bar hours in the lodge. We stayed in tent site 24, which was awesome and just up the hill from the water (direct path). The tent sites do not include the bathrooms/showers (this is clearly stated on the booking site), but rather a vault toilet which was a quick 2-3 minute walk from tent sites and it was VERY clean with hand sanitizer available. Canoes were free to use, and a nice little play ground for little kids. Overall, it was a nice camping weekend.
We rented the group site for my daughter's birthday this past weekend - it was great! We loved the location of AVR - we didn't have to leave in our cars for the whole weekend. We were able to take one of the hiking trails and wander down to the Colorado River for a quick, chilly, swim, did some fishing in the pond, used the canoes and the kids spent hours using the "stage" in our site to do performances. We had plenty of space for our group which included 3 tents, a camper van and a small pop-up camper. We could have fit plenty more. The facilities were clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend.
We absolutely loved our stay at Arapaho Valley Ranch! We were right on the Little Indian Pond with an incredible view of the Indian Peaks. We had no idea we'd also have a private gazebo right on the pond with that gorgeous view! The cabin was clean, perfectly furnished, and my husband (a professional chef!😁) cooked some amazing meals on the grill. The bathroom looked to be recently remodeled, and the views from the kitchen/dining room table were spectacular.
