I really enjoyed myself while I was here. I'm definitely coming back.
We stayed at the Arapahoe group site at Cherry Creek State Park on Saturday night this past weekend and it was fantastic! Putting aside the fact that you can hear the highway (you gotta know where the campground is, peeps...) this facility is excellent! The private pavilion has running water including a private bathroom, a sink/wet bar area that was PERFECT for food/drink storage/setup and the lights and picnic tables in the pavilion were great too. It was clean and our group had such a good time! I will tell folks they might want to bring yellowjacket traps when they come...that's the only thing I didn't plan for!
You can hear i270 from the campsite. I couldn't get over that. The facilities were very good, and the loop was great for a bunch of families. It let the kids play and ride bikes together without adults having to worry about cars or bothering other campers. Fine place to city camp, but not a place I'd go back to with so many beautiful mountain parks so close.
It was a great place for a company camp out event. Everything worked fine. It was fairly clean and peaceful.
Google got it goofy.. stayed at buffalo loop in private spot. Very nice friendly staff camp host came by and was really nice
