We had a wonderful family getaway here in Oct. 2023. We stayed in a deluxe cabin equipped with an AC unit and private bathroom. Although the standard cabin would have been fine for us, it was our first time visiting Aravada so we wanted to be sure we would have everything necessary. The standard cabins have a bathroom/shower house right next to them, we didn’t use them because we had the deluxe cabin. The grounds also have a huge open kitchen available for anyone to use, which we did, and it was a wonderful amenity to have available. We were basically the only ones there the whole weekend besides the groundskeeper. She was nice and very welcoming. We love a nice camp fire, and it doesn’t say much about firewood or camp fires on the website, but they did have a nice stockpile of wood they let us pick from to have our own fire just outside of our cabin. The pond is very clear and very cold, perfect for dipping your feet after adventuring to the nearby sites. This place is bigger than it looks on a map and has panoramic views that are unforgettable. The only downside is the road out to get there is rough with potholes and eroded patches. It makes the journey tough but it is definitely worth it.
Rabat’s Springs is the perfect little getaway from the big city, just 2.5 hrs drive from Las Vegas. I had the most wonderful weekend. We made a fire in the fire pit near the Cabo and ate dinner under the stars. During the day we cooled off in the pond and hiked the trails near the campground. Sunrise and sunsets are beautiful here. I can’t say enough good words about the cleanliness of the cabin. If you like camping and are looking for a place to get away for a couple days, this is the place. It’s a full service campground with showers and toilets and hot water. The staff is so nice.
We just completed our stay at Aravada Springs yesterday after staying for 4 days. The cabins were amazing! They had a small air conditioner which was great for sleeping and enough room for my husband, my kids and I to sleep comfortably. The natural spring was really refreshing during the hot days and the little pool toys that were available for use were perfect for the kids. We were able to have a campfire in the pits provided, had access to a BBQ grill and ice for our coolers. Victoria was our camp host and was SO kind the whole time we were there. She was available when needed and had all the answers to our questions. She was so accommodating. We were able to watch a family movie in the Rock Lodge with the provided DVD's and projection equipment as well as play lots of board games together. There is Wifi available, but we preferred not to use too much of it so we could enjoy nature together as a family and with our friends. The newly renovated bathrooms and showers were so so nice and the Razor ATV rentals were so much fun. Honestly, I cant believe the place wasn't packed with people. It is such a nice place to camp and spend time with loved ones. We will absolutely be back again in the near future. Thank you Aravada for providing such a great location for our family adventure.
Our stay at Aravada Springs was an excellent, fun, and unique experience! We completely enjoyed this beautifully refreshing green spot in the Nevada desert. We traveled to many of the surrounding sights in our side-by-side seeing breathtaking vistas and desert wildlife with a comfortable cabin to return to each evening. The cool water of the pond felt great after a day on the trail. As we ate lunch in the cool shade next to the pond, several deer were grazing peacefully about 75 feet away enjoying their lunch as we enjoyed ours. Best of all was the staff, from those we spoke with when planning our trip, Lorilee & Wendy, to the camp host, Ian, who was friendly and helpful in every way imaginable. We will return for what is sure to be another memorable experience!
This place was amazing. The only downfall is the rough terrain getting here. There are parts of the road that are steep and covered with large boulders that make it difficult to get through. 4x4 vehicles are highly recommended. NO SMALL CARS WILL MAKE IT. The GPS will also take you the wrong way so make sure to go right n not left when approaching the fork in the road on the last turn before you turn. DO NOT GO TO SIDE THAT SAYS ARVANA BYPASS or you will end up stuck or lost.
