Regarding promotional information, Arbor Vitae Campground, as a privately owned entity within the Campgrounds & RV Parks category, typically offers clear pricing structures and may feature various incentives. Nightly rates for campsites vary based on the type of hookup and site size. For instance, non-electric sites (if available, though current information emphasizes hookup sites) might be priced lower, while full hookup sites typically range from $36.00 to $41.00 per night, depending on amenities like 30-amp or 50-amp service and pull-through convenience. Tent-only sites may have specific pricing, for example, $29.00-$30.00 per night for sites with electric or water/electric hookups. There might be additional charges for extra tents on a site beyond the primary unit. The campground often promotes its ability to accommodate larger RVs and the availability of specific site types (e.g., "Campsites 58LT-64LT" as pull-through sites up to 100 feet with 20/30/50 amp service). Seasonal camping options are often a significant promotional offer, appealing to those who wish to spend extended periods in the Northwoods. Prospective seasonal campers are typically encouraged to contact the campground directly for details on availability and pricing, as these are often highly sought after. While explicit "discounts" or "sales" are not always publicly listed, the campground's official website (e.g., av-campground.com) and listings on popular camping platforms (like Good Sam or Travel Wisconsin) serve as the primary sources of current rates and amenities. It is always advisable for interested parties to visit the official website or call the campground directly (715-356-5146) to confirm current nightly rates, inquire about seasonal site availability, ask about any specific deals for longer stays, or confirm policies regarding pets, visitors, and additional vehicles. Given its popularity and extensive amenities, especially during peak summer months and holidays, making reservations well in advance is highly recommended to secure a desired site and experience all that Arbor Vitae Campground has to offer.

Ah, Arbor Vitae Campground! Nestled near the quaint town of Minocqua, Wisconsin, it felt like a chapter right out of a camping novella for our two-month RV sojourn. As first-timers in an RV, the anticipation was high, but the campground exceeded expectations. **What I Like:** - Versatile Sections: There's a spot for everyone, whether you're in a tent, a trailer, or a big RV. - Sue & David: These two run the front office and are super friendly. It feels like visiting old friends. - RV Setup: Our spot had 50amp power, sewer, trash and water for a single price. Easy to drive in, especially with its location near I-70. - Quiet Nights: After a fun day, the nights are calm. The sky is full of stars, and most nights are clear. - Local Fun: Played a card game with local folks and felt right at home. **What You Might Not Like:** - Closing Time: The place shuts down by mid-October because it gets too cold. - Slow Town: Driving in Minocqua means going around 35 mph. - Far-off Stores: If you need Target or Costco, they're a 2-hour drive away. To wrap it up, Arbor Vitae Campground is a special spot. Quiet nights, starry skies, and a friendly vibe. Even if there's no big store close by, the peace and nature make up for it. Can't wait for next season!

We really enjoyed this campground. My wife and daughter along with my father-in-law and mother-in-law camped here for 3 days towards the end of August. We had sites that were right along the creek that runs through the campground. To be honest this was one of the coolest things as we got to relax and enjoy the running water and my daughter could watch the couple of ducks that hung out there each day. When other campers with children came in there was a lot of kids “running through the creek” but let’s be honest what else would one expect? We even saw a couple of bald eagles 🦅 in the campground. The bigger bathroom was super clean and the showers had a lot of hot water. They also had a family bathroom up there which was nice for bathing our 18 month old. We rented the pontoon boat on the Saturday we were up there and it was a good price. The only issue with it was the fact that it “chugged out” from time to time and the engine would fail. It would re-start up though right away. In the end, this was a great campground and we decided to make it an annual tradition to stay at the campground as we really enjoyed it. The owner was really nice and would deliver wood to the campsite each day as well. He was there to help whenever you needed it which was great. I wonder what the cost of a perm ant campsite is per year & if it comes with a boat slip?

The owner is WONDERFUL! He made us (group of not so experienced campers) feel like we were right at home, he not only helped us set things up but was so friendly and made good conversation while doing it! I would recommend this campground to anyone! The bathrooms and showers are so nice and clean, it really made camping so much more enjoyable since everything was so clean! We will definitely be going back! Great job Don, we had a wonderful time!
