We reserved a site online two days prior and it was easy and convenient! The campground was nice and spread out and our site (27) backed into large rocks that gave some decent privacy. Considering it was the week of Christmas the campground was very quiet even though it was full, we barely heard anyone past 7pm and the vault toilets nearby were tidy. We would definitely stay here again! The stargazing at night was incredible as well. No cell service. The site included a tent pad, picnic table with shade, and a fire ring.
Beautiful campground and well maintained. There is a stamp by the entrance of the campground. There is running water, shaded spots, benches, firepits and grills, and amazing views. Great stargazing spot as well. No cell service
Water on-site. Outhouse style restrooms. Incredible unique spots in the midst of gorgeous rock formations
Great little campground with first come first served spots but not managed well. We arrived early in the day and secured a vacant lot only to return to our lot later in the evening to other people camping in our spot. The other people had packed up our camping chairs and moved their own camp in - apparently with permission from the ranger because they had proof they had reserved our spot online. The ranger had “run out” of reservation cards so hadn’t marked the site as reserved by them when we arrived (even though there were dozens of old reservation cards on each site that hadn’t been collected and wiped clean). Unfortunately there were no other vacant spots and we couldn’t find a ranger so we didn’t get our refund. We had to find another spot late at night. At no point was the “campground full” sign put out.
Such a great campground! Very spacious for every lot, some minor trails you can take around. I haven't seen showers and the toilets are dry, very nasty...
