As with every national park we visit, we always try to stop in at the parks visitor center before entering the park to gather as much information as possible to get our bearings and plan our time to maximize our experience in the park. The Arches visitor center is located at the park entrance at the base of a mountain at the beginning of the parks scenic drive. There is a nice size parking lot, that offered oversize parking spaces for RV's as well. The visitor center offered a short informational movie about Arches National Park as well as maps and the park rangers there were also very friendly, helpful and informative. It has a great gift shop as well. With so much to see and do at Arches we highly recommend a stop in at the visitor center. Don't forget to get your park passport stamped.

We had a great visit to the Arches National Park Visitor Center! The center is well-organized and provides a wealth of information about the park’s stunning geological formations and trails. Jun and Min especially enjoyed becoming Junior Rangers—they had a blast completing the activities and earning their badges. The exhibits were engaging and educational, making it a perfect start to our adventure. Overall, the Visitor Center was an excellent introduction to Arches National Park, and we appreciated the opportunity for Jun and Min to get involved with the Junior Ranger program. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting the park!

Pretty cool landscapes. Not to far too drive between hikes or landmarks but heavy traffic and they are doing construction on the roads leading to some 1 way wait for traffic (end of Sept). The arches are one of a kind but the park is very hot with majority of hikes with heavy direct sunlight. There's quite a few short hikes (sand dune, skyline, double, and windows) which are good bang for your buck and walk. Would recommend doing double for the short walk, shade and rest.

Great place to start your journey through Arches National park. We ended up visiting at the end of our time here and buying merch. The bathrooms are clean. There are a number of educational signs outside and inside to read more information about the park. There are also benches and tables to sit at, though not many.

After 4pm, there is no wait or timed entry into the park. Really helpful for a quick visit to the visitor center, which is packed full of history and helpful information for visiting the vast park. The store has such amazing gifts and beautiful artwork, well worth a visit. For water… the taps and fountains near the drive are all closed and there are new fountains closer to the entrance. Unsure if there is an RV fill station anymore as the one sites on multiple apps may have been closed off? However, like mentioned… filling bottles for a day in the park is easily accessible. Very nice and welcoming staff at this location, parking was easy and bathrooms on site.
