Arkansas Point Campground at Pueblo Reservoir is the perfect blend of convenience and adventure. You’re just a short drive from town, so if you’re not in the mood to cook, you can grab dinner in Pueblo, and it’ll still be warm by the time you’re back at your campsite—talk about a win! This spot also makes a great basecamp for day trips. We hit up Garden of the Gods, which is only about an hour away, and managed to swing by Costco for some supplies in the same day. It’s awesome how close you are to everything while still feeling like you’re out in nature. Oh, and keep your eyes peeled because you might spot something super cool—a Tarantula! Yep, we saw one roaming around, which was a wild and unexpected treat. Another perk? The breeze here. On those hot Colorado days, it’s a lifesaver and keeps the bugs in check, so you can really relax without getting swarmed. Overall, Arkansas Point gives you the best of both worlds: easy access to town and epic outdoor adventures all in one spot. We had a fantastic time!

Beautiful campground above the lake with large pull through sites. Bathrooms and showers are plentiful and very large but water is lukewarm at best. No sewer or water hookups. Electric only. Water and a dump station are easily accessible. Beautiful views of the mountains and the lake, adjacent to the visitor center. Short drive to the lake and Marina.

Absolutely amazing campground. Sites are level and clean. You have electricity, water, free hot showers, modern restrooms, and a nice dump station. Staff is the nicest we have ever met across America! No joke. Loved it here would recommend and would go back in a minute.

Pretty nice facilities. Beautiful area. Some typical noisy people, but not too bad since it's December. Bet it's a summer fllat water sports paradise.

This was a beautiful place to stay! The lake was within walking distance, the bathroom and showers were clean, and the campsites were nice and had a sunshade over the tables with a small campfire ring. Definitely somewhere we would come back to!
