Awesome campground a few miles off the main road. Lightly trafficked, we had the place to ourselves. It’s also is a gateway for many 4x4 trails in Apache National Forest. Only one composting bathroom but all sites have picnic tables and a fire pit with grill
Maybe I had been on the road too long by this point, but these were the worst vault toilets I encountered on a 3k mile road trip. Otherwise alright- there was only 1 other set of campers present. Don't be like me and forget you drove into the desert and nearly freeze to death when the temp drops 30 degrees in 2 hours.
We had the place to ourself. Until a late night weary camper set up camp trailer and loud music all night Oh well it was peaceful while we had. Also picked up others trash a packed it out. Your welcome!
Great place to get some peace and quiet. Loved it. The spring is dried up though. Out house and fire rings available.
Best place to camp in the apache national forest!
