My dad and I stayed here for two days and three nights in October for the 2023 Annular Solar Eclipse. The land provides an unobstructed view of the area outside of the Monument Valley Park. You can even see the top of the West Mitten and Merrick Buttes from here. The owners also sold us Navajo Tacos, which were delicious. I had two of them myself. Take note that the sand in this area is loose, which may result in larger vehicles like RVs becoming stuck. Thankfully, the owners were able to help us get unstuck as well. Overall, a recommended place if you like open space.

This is how it is done. Thank you Jeremy Black for making our stay fantastic! Our burner died on our cooking source and Jeremy wheeled out his personal BBQ for us to use... saved our trip! He also arranged for our horseback riding guide to come pick us up at the campground and bring us back so that we didn't have to break camp to drive there. Jeremy's German Shephard "Alpha" kept my kids company playing for hours... Super friendly dog. The views were as spectacular as the customer service. Show your appreciation with tips. ;)

Beautiful campground right in the buttes. Friendly staff and well maintained grounds. Far enough from the highways that it is quiet at night. Be sure to say hi to Alpha, the friendly German Shepard. Would love to stay there again. Only six campsites, so I’d suggest making a reservation, but well worth it.

We booked a site here so we would have a place to stay near Monument Valley. It had good reviews so we thought it was worth trying. It was amazing! The views were spectacular. The hosts were so friendly. The Navajo Tacos were delicious!

Amazing small campground with really BIG views! Unobstructed 360 degree views right in the middle of monument valley. Jeremy is really cool and set us up right away and his family made us a couple of Navajo tacos for dinner. Will definitely be back!
