This place is a dump. The bathroom was filthy and never has paper towels, plus the entrance is very dark and the ground is uneven. I twisted my ankle because I couldn't see a hole right before going in. The playgrounds are rusty with overgrown weeds and the roads have so many holes that need to be filled. It has an abandoned, horror movie feel to it.
Family-friendly camping! I used to camp here when I was a kid and was so happy to find out that the campground is still run by the same family! There are a ton of trails, streams, playgrounds, and little hidden gems everywhere. The 5 Acre Pond is crystal clear with fishing, boating, and swimming. The rec hall is super cute and has pool tables and air hockey. It is a great getaway to nature, and the seasonal campers are super friendly and welcoming.
Insanely friendly wonderful welcoming place. Absolutely heaven for children animals singles just absolutely perfect for everyone
We were road tripping through the area and stumbled upon this gem of a place on our way! It is such a beautiful property with amazing people. Everyone was so friendly and lovely. Darcey was super nice and accommodating, meeting us after hours and showing us around. The people at met were so friendly and welcoming. We were so lucky to have found this place. The facilities were nicer than I expected, compared to other campgrounds we've been to, and there were extra outhouses in convenient locations. Besides the pond, which is the main attraction, there were also 2 playgrounds for the kiddos! We also really enjoyed the clear open sky allowing us to see the beautiful stars at night. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you!!
Nice in the beginning then changed after the first season. Campground looks like a dump. Sites are loaded with trash, people do their laundry there causing water shortage and electric draws. They play favorite to those who drink or are part of the click. Asked to move to a different site and was told no for 2 years to sites that were abandoned only to be told they weren't. When we left, those sites opened up. Way over priced for a short season. Charge to keep camper there over winter. Weekend campers allowed which always ends up in partying all night long, loud music and fights. Owners could care less about the seasonal campers and are all part of the drinking groups. The owner even gave her campground a 5 star review to boost her review score. So far since we left to go to a better place that is a third of the cost, 5 others have left because of the conditions and the don't care attitude of the campground and its paying customers. The campground even had the EPA called on them because of the bath house and gray water disposal and people doing laundry in their campers which is not allowed. They are known for the drinking and there are even more issues with the place. Don't waste you money. There are better places out there.
