This resort is probably the best vacation I've ever had. The staff, ALL of the staff, are more than friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, patient with new campers, and in general just fun to talk to. They don't make fun of you or treat you like a retard for asking stupid questions, they really are dedicated to making sure you have the best experience possible. You can't go wrong with this resort. Wife and I are actually going back for our anniversary we liked it there so much.
Still working on the pool for two years now. We spent a week in the park and never seen anyone working on this at all! Outdoor adventures seems to be sliding into the garage pool!
The Arrowhead Lakes Resort was hit by a tornado over 2 years ago and they still haven’t fixed the pool, the game room, and internet access. They charge so much money for golf carts. I recently rented a cabin and the air conditioner didn’t work. It has been a constant pain since we joined. They also have issues with their clean out tanks.
We really love going to arrowhead. I just really hope to see the campground look as good as the pictures do this year. I also noticed that one of the pictures is from old campground in Indian Lake. An that some over needed maintenance is done this spring. Arrowhead is a great place to go but it could be even better with the right people getting things done.
Tried to make a non member reservation, as it states you can do on website. You are forced into a high pressure timeshare type sales presentation, even when you tell them not interested. Been there, done that. I stated no way ever. I wven offered to do it by myself and was refused. We're not even from the state. She refused to give a non member rate. When I finally said I don't meet their criteria, flat out refused any stay. Run as fast as you can unless you like to play the game with their sales person. It is fun to get them really frustrated when they can't make a sale.
