Art Lilley Campground Introduce
North Carolina is blessed with incredible natural landscapes, and for those of us who love to explore the wilder side of our state, the Uwharrie National Forest stands as a true gem. Within this ancient mountain range, a special place exists that serves as a launchpad for thrilling off-road adventures, serene hikes, and peaceful nights under the stars: Art Lilley Campground. If you're a local seeking an authentic outdoor experience, whether you're bringing your off-highway vehicle (OHV) or simply looking for a quiet place to connect with nature, Art Lilley Campground offers direct access to the heart of the Uwharries.
Art Lilley Campground isn't your typical amenity-rich RV park; it's a more rustic, primitive camping experience designed for those who appreciate direct access to the Uwharrie National Forest's extensive trail system. It's known among local off-roading and hiking communities as the place where the "trails begin and end," making it an incredibly convenient base for a weekend of exhilarating exploration. This campground truly embodies the spirit of outdoor adventure, providing a no-frills yet perfectly functional spot to camp before and after your day's activities in the forest. It's a place where you can truly unplug, listen to the sounds of nature, and embrace the rugged beauty that North Carolina's Uwharries have to offer.
Art Lilley Campground is situated at 598 Wolf Den Rd, Troy, NC 27371, USA. Its address places it squarely within the renowned Uwharrie National Forest, making it an incredibly convenient hub for accessing the forest's extensive network of trails and natural attractions.
